Alpha Aluminum Razor Care Guidelines
Wash and Dry After Every Use: After each shave, rinse the razor thoroughly under warm water to remove any soap and hair. You might want to use a MILD soap and a soft brush. Do not use any abrasive cleaners.
Dry Completely: Pat dry with a towel and let the razor air dry unassembled. This prevents water spots and corrosion. You should remove the blade before storage.
Do Not Over-Tighten the Handle: Aluminum is a soft metal, and over-tightening can stress and damage the threads. Firm, Not Forceful: Secure the handle firmly, but do not apply excessive force. Finger tight is just fine.
Lubricate Threads Occasionally: Use a small amount of light grease, Vaseline, or light machine oil on the threads. Frequency: Apply lubrication occasionally to ensure smooth assembly and prevent thread wear.
A suitable lubricant is Lanacote - available HERE or Permatex - available HERE
